The Challenge

Overview: Message center is a feature where businesses can communicate with their customers through automation texting and two way texting. This feature is on the SA web app. 

Methods: Surveys, Wireframes, Beta Testing, Prototyping.

Tools: Figma, Pendo, Monday.com.

Problem Statement: Message center needs to be mobile responsive, has no filtering, and has dated UI. Therefore, this inhibits users from responding to their customers and filtering for important messages.

Retrospective

Looking Back

My biggest challenge was handoff with development. It took a lot of collaboration wiith the development team to ensure the designs lined up with staging/beta test. There were quite a few bug fixes for this feature. The other designer and I solved this obstacle by meeting regularly with development and writing design polish Jira tickets. 

Looking Ahead

If theAfter being released to production, the message center is still collecting feedback on the revisions made after Beta testing. We now meet weekly with development to give them early insight on designs.
